Give That Man A Blow Job: Rafał Trzaskowski, Mayor of Warsaw
The Mayor of Warsaw in Poland, Rafał Trzaskowski, signed the first LGBT rights bill in the history of Poland, and all of central-eastern Europe!
Poland has a terrible history of anti-LGBTQ aggression. Last year a physical monument was vandalized so often it had to be replaced with a light show.
Another Polish mayor, Mayor Pawel Adamowicz of Gdansk, who was a vocal supporter of LGBT rights, was murdered back in January on stage in front of an audience. The conservative country of Poland isn’t a a safe place to express liberal views and it takes guts to speak out.
Trzaskowski showed a real strength of character in signing this bill.
Rafał Trzaskowski (We just call him, Rafal, because we have no idea how to pronounce the letter “ł”) said “In my election campaign, I promised Warsaw for everyone.’ And he is following through with that statement.
